Most of the poems are simple "regular style" with five or seven syllables per verse. They are also characterized by beautiful rhymes. It is very interesting that the Chinese version has the title You should be a bird, flying to your mountains. After reading the book, I started to understand the meaning. The author (or maybe the reader) is the bird, and education is the wings helping her get rid of the cage and soar to a bigger world.
