They have all have fixed volume of water. They were required to transfer the water from different beakers with varying measuring lines. one measuring line in beaker A is 10ml, beaker B has one line = 20ml. They can then use each cube to represent one sound and put the cubes in a straight line. This helps them to segment in a concrete manner.</div>]]></description>

From there, the teacher manage to get the class to draw on the relationship between their work and come up with the formula together. She then pair it with an SLS learning package to reinforce students understanding of concept.</div>]]></description>
