Die Frau blieb mit ihren Zwillingen im Haus, während die anderen Dorfbewohner flüchteten. Soldaten nahmen einen der Jungen an sich. South West Region
Ma'am, the condition within the villages now is deplorable. The military have taken a new approach aimed at killing youths they suspect of later joining the amba fighters.
They no longer use machine guns but knives to ambush people with, after which they burn them in order to hide the evidence.
The population now in the bush has doubled, those who returned have now gone back into the bushes, because they fear the military coming to murder them in their homes, before their own children. More ophans and widows now.
