Yes, i definitely agree , teacher reluctant hinders technologies in teaching and learning in classroom because they are feeling hard to adapt with new technologies in classroom. They still prefer their old teaching style with chalk and talk. We can look this situation happen when Covid-19, most of them still prefer to give exercise through module and student need to pick and submit at school guardhouse. Supposedly, teacher in urban area that don’t have internet connection problem can maximize the usage of digital classroom and on real time like in the schedule when teaching and learning process happen. By hook or by crook teachers need to adapt with technology and must improve their skill time by time. For now, they need to follow with AI technologies that can make their teaching process become easier and affective with activities using digital classrooms activity.

YES, Teacher reluctance can indeed hinder the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning. This reluctance often stems from a lack of confidence, inadequate training, fear of failure, and resistance to change. Many teachers may feel unprepared to use digital tools due to limited exposure or support, while others may consider technology irrelevant to their subject or too time-consuming to implement. As I mentioned before, the senior teachers prefers the old classic methos instaed of adapting the new norm. According to the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), teachers’ willingness to adopt technology depends on its usefulness and ease of use. Therefore, to overcome these barriers, schools must provide ongoing professional development, peer mentoring, and adequate infrastructure to build teachers’ confidence and competence in meaningfully integrating technology into their practice.

Yes, I agree that teacher reluctance can significantly hinder the technology integration in teaching and learning. There are plenty of reasons why teachers may be reluctant to adopt technology, including a lack of digital literacy, a fear of failing, a resistance to change, or worries about managing the classroom and an increased workload. This reluctance becomes a significant obstacle even when schools invest in modern technologies like learning platforms, interactive whiteboards, or tablets because these tools may remain underutilized or misused in the absence of active teacher participation. It's also possible that some teachers are unaware of the possible ways that technology might enhance student-centered learning, differentiate instruction, and promote deeper learning. This leads to the loss of the potential advantages of technology, like improved student motivation, immediate feedback, and access to a variety of resources. Schools must address this through providing mentorship, fostering an environment that encourages experimentation, and providing continual professional development to help teachers feel inspired and secure enough to successfully incorporate technology into their lesson plans.

Yes, I agree with the statement that teachers’ reluctance hinders technology integration in teaching and learning. I would say that when there is a new system or policy introduced by government, and the implementers (educators) are not working on it, then this will not be going to work. The reason behind the teachers hinder technology in the classroom is they scared of doing mistakes and not willing to accept the change. Maybe some educators are hesitant to adopt new technology because they think that new teaching design may decrease the effectiveness compare to the outcome that they can achieve using their traditional teaching methods. Other than that, teachers also may have lack of knowledge on the technology-based teaching and learning methods. Thus, teachers may experience a lack of readiness to effectively utilize new technologies. However, we can not solely blame the teachers for this issue. Besides the teachers’ behavior, the lack of infrastructures in schools also becomes an important reason behind the failure in the implementation of technology in the classroom.

‎Yes I agreed. Teacher reluctance definitely will hinder the integration in teaching and learning because teacher is the main character in learning. If the teacher itself does not want to use the technology in teaching, this automatically will affect the student learning. Student will stick to the traditional method of learning. On the other hand, nowadays technology already take advanced in all things especially education. If the teacher hesitant to adopt or apply new techologies in teaching, it creates a barrier from using technology that actually can enhance student engagement and learning process. Therefore, without teachers' cooperation in using technology, even if there are very sophisticated digital tools also cannot help student potential, development and innovation in education.

Task 1

The ASSURE model helps teachers plan more structured, engaging, and technology-integrated lessons. It reminds us to focus on students’ needs, set clear objectives, choose the right media or tools, and involve students actively.

For example, in the IR 4.0 era, a teacher might analyze students' digital skills, then use interactive Padlet or quizzes on Kahoot to involve them in a science or math lesson. It ensures that technology isn’t just used for fun, but with a clear learning goal.

Task 2

For me, the most important step in Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction is definitely Gain Attention. I believe if we don’t grab our students’ interest at the start, they won’t be fully focused or excited to learn. Nowadays, especially in this IR 4.0 era, students are easily distracted with phones, games, and social media always around them. So, it’s really important for us as teachers to find fun and creative ways to catch their attention from the beginning.

I remember when I was teaching percentages to my Year 6 students. Instead of jumping straight into formulas, I started the lesson with a simple but fun online shopping activity. I used an app where they had to work out discounts on items like shoes, toys, and gadgets. Immediately, the students became excited and engaged, which helped them connect the lesson to real life; as a result, they were more eager to learn and understand.

That experience showed me just how powerful it is to start strong. In the IR 4.0 world, we’ve got tools like Kahoot!, interactive videos, and even simple simulations to help us grab attention. Once we have that, the rest of the lesson flows better. I really think that gaining attention is the key to unlocking learning.

It reminds us to think about who our learners are, choose the right tools or media, and plan activities that let students be more involved not just passive listeners. This is especially helpful when teaching in the IR 4.0 era where technology plays a big role in classrooms.

I think the most important step is Assess Performance, which means giving students the chance to practice what they’ve just learned. This step is powerful because it helps students apply knowledge, make mistakes, and improve especially when it’s active and hands-on. During an English lesson on giving opinions, after teaching the phrases and showing examples, I gave my students a fun Jamboard activity where they had to comment on different topics accordingly. They used their own ideas and practiced using the new language in a real context. This made learning more meaningful and interactive. In the IR 4.0 era, tools like Flipgrid, Google Forms, or interactive writing platforms really support this step and make practice more fun and engaging.

Task 1

The ASSURE model is important for teachers because it helps them plan lessons in a clear and organized way that meets the needs of their students. It starts by looking at who the students are, then sets clear learning goals, and chooses the right tools and materials to teach. It also makes sure students are actively involved in learning and that the teacher checks if the lesson was successful. This model helps teachers use time, technology, and resources more effectively, making lessons more engaging and easier for students to understand.

Task 2

"Gain Attention" is very important because if my students are not paying attention, they won’t learn anything. It’s the first step I must take to make sure they are interested and ready to learn. For example, when I teach a lesson on kindness in Moral Education, I start by showing a short video of a child helping someone or doing a kind act. After the video, I ask my students questions like, “Have you ever seen something like this?” or “How did it make you feel?” This helps grab their attention, makes the topic feel real, and encourages them to think and share, which makes the whole lesson more meaningful and engaging.
