         <description><![CDATA[<div>This article presents the difference between ADD and ADHD.&nbsp;<br>ADD is actually one of the 3 subtypes of ADHD. The technical term is ADHD: Predominately Inattentive Type. Those with this type have trouble when it comes to completing tasks. They are slow to process information. They often seem forgetful and careless. This type is usually overlooked in comparison to ADHD. The other two subtypes are ADHD: Predominately Hyperactive-Impulsive Type and ADHD:&nbsp; Combined Type.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video starts with what ADHD is. It is defined by it's clinical symptoms, or the behavioral symptoms that you see. The core symptoms are inattention, hyperactivity, distractibility, and impulsivity. It is mentioned that the symptoms have to be appropriate for the child's age. If they are acting out differently than their age shows, that is a concern for diagnosis. ADHD is a chronic condition. Usually a history of 2 years of symptoms is wanted to be observed. ADHD is more common in boys. </div>]]></description>

These include interviews with parents or teachers, academic testings, and observations in daily life. Genetics could play a part in the severity of the behavioral disorder. Examples are given for children that have behavioral disorders. It mentions that students in this category are usually 1-2 years below their grade level. The most important part of these children's growth in education is having a teacher that is qualified, knowledgable as well as patient and positive.</div>]]></description>
