This can be seen in the unusual syntactical structure. The poet uses run on sentences excluding appropriate punctuation, something normally seen when one is in a rush to express their thought. In some forms this can be viewed as a sign of passion, where the writer wants to express a thought as it is presented in their head disregarding the appropriate rules as they may take away from the true meaning. The use of the ampersand, lack of commas or other punctuation, and interjection of parentheses are signs of this. The ampersand and lack of punctuation can be viewed as a sign of rush, or wanting the reader to read and view that thought just as the writer imagined it, still we are not inside his brain thus the interjection of parentheses, there to provide a slight insight to what his view is. The poet sets these tones by how he sets up his structure of his poem. In parentheses the poet adds descriptive details making the poem seem more happy and peaceful then it would be if he didn't have these details. If you were to rewrite the clauses in this poem in natural order it would make the poem seem more smoother and correct sounding but still have the same tone of peacefulness.
