In 2017, I had a pet Betta Fish named Finn! He is the only pet I’ve ever had, although I begged for a dog for 14 years. Finn was very playful (as a fish could be), and enjoyed swimming laps around his purple plant.

This is a picture of my dog Trex, a boxer breed. Trex has been in our family for 7 years now, which goes to show me how fast time flies by. I picked this picture of Trex because it is one of my favorites of him, and I truly believe this picture explains my dog in a nutshell. Trex loves to sleep; it is probably his most favorite thing to do. But the funny thing is Trex rarely ever sleeps in his dog bed. He always goes to sleep in one of our beds. We always joke that he thinks he is a human, the way he sleeps, and how he only really likes to sleep in one of our beds. Like in this picture, he is in my bed with his head on a pillow, and he is under a blanket, this was the picture that started the "he thinks he is a human" joke in my house. My dog is my world; I love him so much.

This was my dog Katie, we got her when I was in 3rd grade. When we went to the shelter my dad was adamant that we weren’t going to get a dog but of course we did. She unfortunately passed away a couple years ago, but she still means the world to me. I grew up with her and she was there for everything. She loved food, going for walks, she would always lay in the same spot. She loved going for car rides. She was the best and I miss her.

This is my dog Zane. He is an 11 year old pekapoo. He loves to get head rubs and to chase his own tail. He's also super fast! He is such a good pet and I love him very much!

These are my dogs JoJo (right) and Susan (left). Jojo is ten, and Susan is 2! Their favorite thing to do is lay in my bed and look out the window, so they can bark at anyone/anything that goes by!

Meet Xandy, my 6-year-old Labradoodle! Xandy has a big personality, ranging from very lovey to very sassy. I consider him my little brother, we bicker all the time and he likes to annoy me! He's my best friend though, so I wouldn't want it any other way.

We rescued Xandy from a puppy mill when he was 1, and he was very traumatized unfortunately. He essentially had to learn how to be a dog, he didn't know how do anything. Our old Goldendoodle, Barkley, taught him the ropes before passing away. Slowly but surely, Xandy has turned into the best boy! We are all so proud of how far he's come!

This was my dog. Her name was Roxi. I can't recall exactly when we got her, but I was very young. She was so sweet and loving. I would play with her all the time. Whenever I would fall sick, she would not leave my side. She would sleep in my bed every night, always curled up in a ball beside me. I loved her very much. We unfortunately lost her in 2021. She was an angel and I'll always love her and miss her.

This is my big man, Moo. He has one eye and is named for his cow print fur. I’ve been told we look a-like and frankly, I believe it, considering all the scruff. I call him big man because he’s a whopping 14 pounds, yet does not classify as obese. Sadly, he has an anxiety disorder and has to regularly receive cat “Xanax”.

this is my dog jasper. He is a american bulldog, unfortunately he passed away 2 years ago from a heart attack which is common for bulldogs. Im very grateful to have had him in my life for 6 years and hopefully soon I can get a new dog very soon.

These are my two cats, Ducky and Thomas Jefferson! I have had Ducky for about a year now, but my girlfriend and I just adopted Thomas Jefferson about a month ago! Ducky was territorial at first, but the two get along very now and she's taken on the big sister role, even grooming him!

Meet Blaze! This is my shih tzu who we adopted in 2017 during my freshman year of high school. One day I was home from school and convinced my mom to go to the animal shelter, and there he was, the quietest doggo in the kennel. He's currently 10 years old and he has cataracts now & is going blind. He still runs around and plays just as he did when we got him when he was 3. He's my first pet and I love him so much!

This is my cat Indy! Indy is very special to me because he resembles a family member. He is like a son to me; I look after him and I feel like he looks after me too. He is very playful and always likes to be entertained. He is always very hungry and loves to be fed treats. I love when he comes in my bed to sleep, it makes feel warm and welcome.
