This is me and my horse when we won the All American Quarter Horse Congress in October. Earlier this year I was really struggling with this horse and I was super defeated. I had a goal to win the Congress but i knew I needed to work super hard to get there. I spent many nights up until 11 going through patterns and patterns. Many tears and late nights later we finally made it to Congress. I was extremly nervous but this was my dream and I worked super hard for this. I made it happen, and we won. The next run we also got reserve champion.

This is me and the little girl that I made a monster for. I really wanted to take my time making it and ended up taking it home. When the due date came and everyone had theirs done mine still wasn't done. I wanted to still had pieces to it and make sure it matched the picture. I wanted the girl to be super happy with it. So, I took it home and a week later I went and gave it to her. She was so so happy and loved it. I may have been late giving it to her but i still made it out to her. This made her so happy and shows it's never too late.

In softball many girls tend to stay quiet because it is a humbling sport. Not me though. I love to express myself. Not only can i celebrate the little wins from all of the work that I put in but it also hypes up my team. This is very looked down on by other players and teams and even parents. This is how I have fun playing a sport that wants you to fail. Even though it isn't part of the culture in softball. I still do it because that is who I am.

This is the tournament that my team won. I got to picth and that was only because of my family. They have taken me everywhere for softball and have cheered me on again and again. They have challenegd me to be the best player I can be and have showed up to every single game. They ahve supported me when I was in the roughs and when I was in a winning streak. I wouldn't be where I am without them.

This is my friend Brielle. We were bestfriends in 3rd grade until 6th when we then grew apart. I was in a different class cause of covid and we didn't talk alot and i missed her. In 8th grade we started to talk again and it was like we never even grew apart. Our friendship never ended and it was just like a small break if anything. I love her as my bestfriend. This picture shows us but also the sunset. I think sunsets are a sign of love where they leave and alway come back the next day. Love always wins.

This is my boyfriend. He's also my bestfriend. Sometimes it's hard to believe that I'm with him and how great he makes me feel. Even when we fight and it looks as if we aren't together it doesn't feel like it. He makes me feel like the most amazing person and supports me a lot. So as Morrie would say, sometimes I can't believe I'm with this amazing of a person, I can feel it.

This is me pitching for my travel softball team. Softball is a game of failiure. You are meant to fail for then you are to succeed. As a pitcher I am super hard on myself and find it hard to have even a good week if I don't do good pitching. It's also hard to not blame others for making mistakes and messing up. Everyone is human and you have to learn forgivness. You aren't perfect and like Morrie said you have to forgive yourself and others.

The parts of my life that show Morrie's wisdom is my family. They show so much love and forgivness to me. They don't just base everything off of matrial things and they love me for the real me. I love my family more than anything and I would do anythign for them. My friends are also a part that show Morrie's wisdom in my life. I have a group that doesn't judge me and accepts and loves me for who I am.

Improving with Morrie

I would liek to improve myself. I feel like I don't forgive others and that I also don't forgive myself. I hold a lot of grudges against others and that's something I need to fix in life. The people that love me don't deserve the nonforgivness in me. I also need to forgive myself when I don't perform in school or sports at the high expectation that I hold for myself. I want to compete at the highest level yet I don't ever want to fail. We're all human and are going to fail more than we succeed.
