Respond as a collective expert group to these 3 questions. 1. If a new teacher asked you what this routine looks like in action, how would you describe it in 2-3 sentences? 2. How do these routines build across grade levels vertically? 3. What is one part of this routine you already do in your classroom?

I would respond to the new teacher, "you have to use students to model expectations, whole-group particpation, and listening." These routines are built across grade level vertically by repeating the same actions/demonstrations. One routine we already do in the TK classroom is model, model, model, and practice, practice, practice.
