The reason for that is because he relates tone and emotion to transmission in the way that tone alone does not correctly portray the story the artist is trying to get across. In the song he goes through the different rooms describing them as if they were certain parts of the heart and mind. He shows the audience what is open to the public in regards to the events that have happened in his life and also the tragedies that he has been through.
