Mukund
Hasan
Jaxson

Physical activity is regarded as a self management strategy for an individuals personal health. Because of lack of self management many people are lacking on exercising as other things such as work become a higher priority. Self management is the ability to manage your time and physical activity in a way which is beneficial. Many people aren't able to find time to exercise as their self management uses time of other activities such as going shopping. It is important that goals be realistic and achievable. Learning to set goals for behavior change is especially important for beginners. Setting goals is a vital and one of the easiest ways of having a motive to exercise. For example if someone wants to lose weight their goals could be, restricting 200 Calories a day or expend- ing 200 more a day for several weeks.

a lack of motivation is not believing that its relevant for your health and you would much rather do something else.
An example of lack of motivation is, not putting much effort into a sport so as a result you become bored with it, or that you're just not interested in sport or physical activity in general. some strategies are, getting your family involved with whatever sport you want to do, make a team with some friends, set some goals and try to have fun.

josH
Ethan
oliveR

Some people lack physical activity and feel worried about people seeing them. An example would be a class at school playing soccer and a small child would feel left out because he feels like he can't play. A way to solve this problem would be sport teachers teaching the class skills before they play. Another way to solve the problem, especially in busy adults, is to partake in physical activities by themselves or with their trusted friends. Examples can include hiking, bike riding, running, rowing, exercise at home, golf, dancing by yourself and walking to school or work. It can also include going to the gym if there are sufficient funds. Independent sports include.
*Walking
*Running
*Swimming
*Hiking
*Fishing
*Golf
*Rowing
*Skipping
*Push ups
*Sit ups
*Chin ups

This was created by Maximus Jones, Arshia Pirmoradi and Matthew James.

The cost of purchasing fitness clothing, equipment and a practice area can be a barrier to people looking to exercise. Lack of money can be a restriction to the availability of activities to participate in. The price of a gym membership can cost a large amount of money, restricting people from using the recommended equipment necessary. Fees to pay to compete in a sports are also expensive and there is usually a requirement to pay for a uniform. Not only does fitness areas cost money, but also the equipment needed for most sports, e.g. tennis and badminton require nets, rackets and balls/shuttlecocks and netball and basketball can’t be played without a hoop to throw the ball in. Some resolutions to these problems are:

Using staircase to go up and down does not cost anything. e.g. going up 15 floors x 27 steps = 405 steps climbing up staircases are using triple energy of walking normal roads.

If a person is busy, they just need to use 4 minutes (20 seconds exercise —> 10 seconds rest x 8 sets) with simple exercise.

Buying a cheap ball can help with fitness, by throwing and catching with a friend or just dribbling it around for practice.

By Jade, Ayuka & Anoushka

The definition of lack of encouragement/support is when your family or friends don’t seem to have interest in anything you’re doing for yourself, or if they are too busy to help you or care at all. An example might be when you tell your parents that you have joined a new tennis club after school but they say that you can’t because they cannot go to pick you up after school. They might think that it’s a waste of money. Or another example with friends is if you ask them if they want to join the club with you but they immediately reject that idea, leaving you to feel hollow.

Some ways to resolve this issue is;

Get a part time job to pay for your own expenses

Catch a bus or walk/ride a bike instead of relying on your parents

Try and make more friends with people in the club, or people who have the same interests in sports

Have a discussion with your parents about your issues. If you make an effort to try and talk about it to them, they will most likely try to help.

Try doing things individually for once. It can help develop your independence.

Time is minutes and hours you have to complete a task. For example, 6 hours of school, 8 hours of work, a relationship, etc. Some of these kind of activities can take up so much time, you don't have any more time to be active and do exercise. So in work, you're usually sitting down and not moving. At lunch time, get up, walk, be active. Or in school, while walking to your next class, (if you have time), walk the long way. So you get that little bit more exercise in. Take the stairs! Even though it's a little, it's better than none.

Jaimee...
...
...
...
...
...
and Jodi and Stefania (sort of)
