  • What is the purpose of life? There are many answers for this question, for every individual in the world has the freedom to express, project, and feel what their purpose in life is. However, there is always a common denominator. I am sure that we humans, do not picture a purpose that is sad, dark or unpleasant. Rather, we always aim for something that will bear a positive result, such as happiness, joy and peace in our hearts. Therefore, regardless of the differences we have, may it be goals or aspirations; our common purpose is to be happy and to find peace and love in our hearts. Through the grace, glory and guidance of God, we may find our purpose and by approaching him and developing a deeper relationship with him, we can further realize that our greater purpose in life is to go back to Him and to be happy through Him, with Him and in Him. 
  • Before taking this course, I thought that my general purpose in life is to be a good person and to do everything in a morally and justfully right manner. With the help of this course and my professor, I have thought outside the box and digged deeper into what my deeper purpose in life is. I have realized that as a christian and a man in the society we are all here on earth for a reason. We are called by God and we all have our own missions to accomplish, and in general, it is to spread His word and to live in accordance with the scriptures by following the commandments. Although my new purpose in life doesnt fall far from what it used to be, it was just enhanced and widened. I think that the reason why others are having trouble in finding their purpose in life is that because they are so affected by the stressors around them, such as pressure, jealousy and anger. Their minds are troubled and they are having a difficulty maintaing peace in their selves. 
  • I believe that we have different understandings in the purpose of life because each of us are called differently. God has uniquely called each of us in his own way, for that is why we shall trust his plans; because he made it not to cause us harm but to give us a prosperous life. 
  • I would relate my desire for happiness with my purpose with the fact that happiness is what people want in life and it sells. My purpose is to whatever makes me happy, and if I want to be happy, then it means that I am achieving my purpose in life and that is to achieve eternal happiness by returning to God.

I just wanted to share with you some things that I’ve been pondering on. I think that the purpose of life is for us to be able to fulfill God’s wishes for us. It is for us to appreciate and care for the things that we have been given. Life is about being a better version of ourselves, reaching out to people who needs help, and being a guiding light to those people who has succumbed to darkness. 

    It hasn’t always been clear to me what my purpose in life is, but all I know is this: I was born for a reason. I have unique traits, attitudes and talents that I can use to maximize my purpose in life. I can use it to my advantage by helping those that I can. 

    I just want to remind you though that this is just my opinion. It is how I view my purpose in life. I know that we have different opinions regarding this matter, but I know that how we see our purpose in life is connected somewhat to our search and desire for happiness. We strive to be happy that’s why we align our happiness to what we want to achieve in life and contribute to the world.

    Having and knowing one’s purpose means having a direction in life, knowing the path where you’re going, a guide in terms of making life decisions, it is often embedded in each of the culture we take part in and is often being overlooked. 
        Our sole purpose in life is simple, it is to find happiness and peace, whereas we can obtain when we seek God. Before I took this course and coming to the realization of what truly is our purpose, I’ve always seen life as a constant battle, always the survival of the fittest. Hence I thought of our purpose is to simply serve in the world we move in, to work and work until we die, to keep the world functioning and to let the people continuously exist and to do the same cycle all over again. I’ve always seen it like that, happiness seems to be just a little extra spice to lessen the weight of the harsh reality that we needed to be successful in our own careers, serve the people, and populate, which to me seemed to be our purpose. I’ve always thought that we really all are just working in a cycle, made for a robot/machine-like purpose. It was until then lately in this course, I was introduced to a different perspective, or the truth rather, that us humans have a purpose to find happiness by going back to God. It then doomed on me how corrupted my perspective was on our purpose. I myself live for the joys even the littles ones in life, yet how could I not center my purpose on my happiness? Now, I truly believe that my purpose in life is to live by God’s expectations to us; His creations made in His image, and I would still find the need to be successful in my career in order to serve the country and the people, but to find joy and happiness and the feeling of content along the journey towards it, and life in general.

         Not everyone  admits it, but oftentimes when asked about what our purpose is, we would find it difficult to answer. I believe the reason for this is because, we seem to be so disconnected with ourselves and we’re too attached to our daily lives,  going through the same usual day to day routine, but we don’t really stop and think why do we exist? What are we made for? What makes life worth living?  Everyone can have their own meaning, a differenf pespective on what they were made for. It can depend on what they prioritize, what they value, how they see the world they exist in, and what happiness is truly for them. 
        
          I strongly agree with the fact that it is impossible to attain happiness and not ask for more because of the material world we live in. We can have all of the luxuries that exists, yet we will soon realize that these things cannot fill the void in us, which is what only God can do. I could say that I could find happiness in doing what I love that could benefit the people I care and love for. I could find happiness with myself with the feeling of contentment in which He can help me find. Because it is true that with Him, we truly find our true purpose, our peace of mind and soul, and our meaning.

  • Based on what I’ve learn our purpose of life is to go back to God. It is where we came from and it is where we will go back.
  • Before studying this course, I’ve though that my purpose in life is to give happiness to everyone and to help those people who are in need. Because of this course I now know what is my purpose in life which is to go back to God. It became more clear on what I am doing here on earth. It is hard to answer by some because we’ve all been wondering what are we doing here and what are we gonna do here. Why did God send us here. It’s hard to know and find our purpose especially in this world. There are a lot of purpose in life but only one will give us true meaning and only one is the true answer.
  • We have different understanding about the purpose of life because we all have different mind, critical thinking. We have different perspectives on life. 
  • The real and true happiness that we want is in God. We want to be happy but all we are feeling is temporary happiness. When we return to God we will tell eternal happiness. My desire happiness is in God’s kingdom.

When asked what the purpose of life is, the first thing that comes to mind is fulfilling our destiny and walking the path that God made for us, in ways that is just and right. I believed that our purpose was to play the roles given to us. What I did not know then; was that along with playing our part, it is also our purpose to go back to God.

    2. Before taking this course, I thought life merely takes us where we choose to go. I believed that my purpose in life was to achieve my greatest dreams, fulfilling every desire I had, and finishing the goals i have set in life. However, with the help of my professor, my classmates, and this course, I have learned that the purpose of each and everyone of us, is to return to our home in heaven and to reunite with our father.
             
                 Personally,I think that we find difficulty in answering this question because we do not really know our true purpose in life, not until we accept and love the Lord.

          3. A person who is studying health sciences would think that graduating and becoming a doctor is their purpose in life, while a film director might think that his purpose is to create and deliver art to the masses. What this tells us is that, we all have different ideas on what our life's purpose is, because we all have different perspectives in life.

    4. Our purpose in life interlinks with our desire to happy, when we get to know that in the arms of God, we will always find happiness.
