Our solar system is a quite magnificent and extraordinary thing and it is bigger than most of us can even fathom. The end of the solar system is said to be approximately 122 astronomical units from the sun, where one astronomical unit is around 93 million miles. Our solar system is located in the Milky Way galaxy and includes the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, as well as comets, asteroids, and moons. (Up until 2006, there was another planet, Pluto. It has since been labeled a "dwarf planet".)
