June 24 has a double meaning in Romania: 
     IEI Day (the shirt of the Romanian folk wear);
    Sanzienele 
Sânzienele are, in Romanian mythology, good fairies. On this day, sycamore flowers are picked from the fields, wreaths are woven and placed on the heads of maidens. They perform the "Sânzienelor Song" and join in the chorus (traditional folk dance). The girls are dressed in white shirts.
Sometimes Sânzienele is also nicknamed Drăgaicele. In Buzău county, a fair (balci) called Drăgaica is organized annually in June. It ends on June 24.
The melody in the background represents the song of the Sânzienel.
