I used cardboard to make the axe, as well as cardboard and fabric to make her Trojan helmet. My tunic was made from a white sheet and I went barefoot. For the helmet, chest plate, arm cuffs, and spear tip I used a mixture of cardboard, paper Mache, hot glue, and spray paint. The spear handle is a broom pole, and the horsehair crest on the helmet is made of broom bristles. On the chest plate, there is an owl to symbolize Athena’s wisdom, along with other cardboard cutouts. I used a sheet for the stola and I spray painted the bow and arrows that I had from an old costume. The quiver was made from wrapping paper cardboard rolls, faux leather, and yarn. For our costumes we chose to portray the greek god Poseidon(Carys L.), his wife, Amphitrites(Grace C.), their son Triton(Lily O.), and Tritons adopted daughter, Athena(Svea S.). Along with Amphitrites’ sisters(Lily O. and Svea S.) Poseidon’s costume was made out of a white sheet, with a tank top, a crown, and a serving fork. Amphitrites’ costume was also made with a white sheet and had gold ribbon around her hair, a karate belt, and a fork. Tritons costume was made with a blue shirt, blue pillow cases, a fork, and blue paper to make his gills. Athena’s costume was made with a white sheet, part of a darth-vader mask with gold paper attached, a karate belt, a plastic sword and a recorder to represent a flute.
