The Identical Twins

The story/topic was about a mother(dog) that gave birth to two puppies and they were Literary Identical. Kurt de Cramer was the Veterinarian that discovered that the two puppies looked the same. He delivered the first monozygotic twin dogs
This can be explained by the fact that, despite having the same DNA, the way individual genes are expressed can differ. "Human identical twins also have the same genes, but because those genes are expressed differently in each person, they have different freckle and fingerprint patterns," says de Cramer. There were other specialists for this case of the twins. When the twins were six weeks old the specialists took DNA samples, from their tissue. They also profiled the rest of the litter, "Really just to have some sort of idea of how similar the pups in the litter were genetically", says Joone.

If the other pups from the same litter had very similar profiles, the team says they could not have convincingly concluded that the other two were identical.

Again, the results confirmed that the first two pups were genetically identical, whereas the others were only similar to the level that litter mates usually are.

Citations:
Hogenboom, Melissa. “Earth - A Dog Has given Birth to the First Identical Twin Puppies.” BBC News, BBC, 31 Aug. 2016, www.bbc.com/earth/story/20160830-first-identical-twin-dogs-discovered.

A third of earth is covered by forests, and they are really important. The plants that grow in forests breath in carbon dioxide, a harmful gas and breath out oxygen, a gas that we breath. Many animals and other organisms live in forest. Many humans also live in forests. Since some people live around trees, they use the trees shade as a place to cool off. They can prevent floods and help fight them. They keep dirt in its place. Some trees grow fruits, and we eat that. They provide wood and other things and we make stuff from them. They are really beautiful(opinion).

Forests cover a third of all land, covering Earth. They support countless species and 1.6 billion human beings. They help us breathe. They produce oxygen which we need, so we can breathe. They make it rain. Which makes plants grow, and the water cycle continues. They feed us by producing fruits. We also use them to make things like furniture and paper. They can clean up air pollution on a large scale. Trees keep Earth and humans cool by its large leaves. It provides shade to cool down on a hot day. In conclusion, trees are important on Earth. Without them, we would not be able to live our life like we live in today.

Later, Congress passed many important environmental laws such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act. The Environmental Protection Agency was created three years after Earth Day.

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. It is made to raise awareness about the dangerous pollution happening and to save our greens. And to inspire people to take actions against the pollution producing technology to be able to breathe better. Surprisingly, they both are different and have nothing to do with each other. They both were invented/created/founded in 1970 and instantly became popular since. The first Earth Day was on March 21, 1970. It was the idea of John McConnell, who was a newspaper publisher and an influential community activist.

Many animals use camouflage for different reasons. Some do it so they can hide from predators. Some do it so they can catch their prey easier. One example is the Ant mimicking spider. This spider acts like it is an Ant so it can easily catch its prey . They have adapted to this situation. Another example is the Peppered Moth. During the Industrial Movement there was so much pollution that it covered all the trees in soot. The white moths were easy to spot put the black ones were camouflage. Almost 100 percent of the white moths diapered. In 1948 the city cleaned up the trees and the white moths returned. This shows another way how animals adapted to the environment.

The article I read was about 36 random animal facts. I learned that an octopus has three hearts. Squirrels cant burp or vomit, polar bears have black skin. Honeybees can flap their wings 200 times every second. Earth is home to more than 1 million known animal species, each one representing an ancient home. All of this random knowledge gets lost in everybody's head, leaving us to speculate about things like dinosaur divorce rates or amphibian dance moves. A lot of animals are very special and they have a special hidden talent that people still don't know about. This is a great article to get to know beautiful animals.
