It makes you sit and think about what words can do to an individual, these words may be meanial to us, but to another they can be very hurtful. I was shocked that children would know such words to describe those of another ethnicity. They where quick to call each other and be mean. Also, it surprised me that with the collars on the children were not able to do the work as fast. Their language was shocking but they must have learnt it from somewhere which just shows how those of a different ethnicity were generally perceived years ago- bad enough for the children to pick up on it!
