In the end, I have found that choosing a specific subject and writing about it from different perspectives was a good idea. I will always have to introduce from the begining the main idea of the paragraph and then to sustain it with evidences using an academic writing style and linking words that make the points more easily to understand. Also, a good paragraph has to contain a conclusion that summerizes the all arguments. It will help me to compose my next essays, presentations, debates. Next time I will focus more on the structure of the paragraphs in order to provide clear information for the person that will read them.

Only when I received my grade and saw what parts of my assignment did not comply with the marking criteria, I truly understood how important is to follow the instructions in order to cover all the aspects that lead to an excelent result. I've found the marking criteria extremely helpful as it emphasizes the main points of the proffessor's instructions. Many things could be learnt from the composing of an assignment and the most important one is the time management. It always has been a fight between the deadline for the assigment and the time you have that sometimes is very short. I learned that I can be defeated in this battle if I am not well organized. For my second assigment I've tried to get rid of the tendency to procrastinate the daily planned tasks and to focus just on what I had to write down for the essay. Respecting the plan helped me not to panic when the due date was approaching and to improve my essay in the remained time. Making a plan is the only way that I can manage my time to complete the required task in every context. There was a lot of information and I did not  know how to write it all down in a more structured form. There were times when  I did not remember from where I took certain information. Sometimes I even lost the sources and it was very difficult to specify the references.The Reading Matrix was useful as it was devided in different columns where the sources and the extracted informations were separate. I only used the first two columns as the other ones , in my opinion, would have taken to much time to be completed. I prefered to make connections between sources without write them down. Taking organized notes has helped me to remember all the information and to find easily connections between sources. Especially It was difficult to introduce my arguments, to find appropriate linking words to connect the ideas and most important to compose both the introduction and conclusion. Therefore, I found Phrasebank website as a very useful method that helped me a lot to find appropriate phrases that introduced the topics in a very structured way. I will use it especially when I will have to sustain a discours or a debate to present clearly my arguments.

At the beginning I found it as being a very challenging task and it was difficult to express the ideas in my own words. The first attempt, shown below, it took a lot of time but as I read various articles I began to find easily synonyms for the second assignment.

I found very useful this two web platforms because it gave me acces to countless articles that were very helpful for my reasearch. On Nelson I discovered that there are a lot of free articles, on the other hand , on Google scholar there were also articles but there were not all free. However on Google scholar I found citiations and also I could see how many times the article were cited by other sources. In this way you can see how trusted is a certain source. For my future assigments I will use Nelson for its countless free articles and Google scholar for its citations and to find the reliability of articles.

The first thing that I have done was to establish the topics of the main body. Once that I knew about what I was going to write, I started to search articles related to the three chosen topics. I have planned to read at least 3 articles a week and taking notes. I started then to write the essay in the week before the deadline. The decision to take notes in an organized way, helped me to write easily the essay. The Padlet      Hhv was updated each time I aquiered new information in class and also during the procces of writing. What I have learned from this experience was to take notes more organized. What I would do differently in the future is to try to work in line with the other assignments and not focusing only on a single one.
