Ploddy is a special tortoise because of its constant forward movement. Ploddy held the lead in this race the majority of the way until 9.9 meters when it was passed up by quaddy. Ploddy is not flashy but is consistent. You know what you are getting out of ploddy everytime it signs up for a race. The acceleration of the other two ended up giving Ploddy a third place finish but don’t underestimate Ploddy. It was a photo finish and in a shorter sprint ploddy destroys the other two contestants.

Cubie is an incredible athlete with so much potential. This kid has burners like none other but lacks game sense. If Cubie kept moving forward for the duration of the race it wouldn’t have been close. Cubie’s acceleration is unmatched and one of the most deadly weapons we have seen since pubie. I am unsure why she felt the need to turn around mid way through the race but it ended up costing her as she had a second place finish. Although she is fast she was not fast enough to make up for the damage her mid game turnaround caused.

Quaddy!! Our victor! Quaddy did not get out of the gate fast but with his persistent mindset he accelerated all the way to the finish line passing up Plotty just in time to take the win. Ploddy, although slow at times, always  moved forward and served to have enough fight to fend off the other two competitors. Quaddy is truly the due it all tortoise. His game sense to keep moving forward paired with his top speed the final meteres served him well in this race.
