Hello to whoever is reading this!

I’m Yuniece, but you can call me Yuni, Niece, or whatever you prefer, I don’t really mind. I’m 18 years old and currently a Grade 12 student at Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School.

My hobbies are drawing, reading books or novels that I find interesting, playing games, and finding random stuff around the house that I can use creatively. I like things that keep me entertained, learning fun facts I didn’t know before, and surprises.

As for dislikes, since I don’t know myself that well yet, the only thing I can confidently say is that I hate bugs.

I’m an introverted person, but when I’m with people I’m close to, I become more extroverted.

I can be pretty awkward to talk to, and if it ever seems like I’m avoiding a conversation or if my replies come off as dry, it’s probably just because I don’t know what to say and I’m shy.

I took the personality type test for our Personal Development subject and got INFP-T. I completely agree with this result because I can relate to and understand every description of an INFP-T. I’ve also taken the personality test multiple times in the past, and the results have always been the same. 📝

WW2 - Stressors and Coping Strategies 😬

This is the work I did for our WW2. It’s about our stressors and coping mechanisms. I included here all the things I’ve learned in our lesson, and I also discovered more about myself. At first, I didn’t realize that some of the things I randomly do are actually considered coping mechanisms when I’m stressed. I also didn’t know that some of them are healthy while others are unhealthy.

In our WW3, we took an Emotional Intelligence Self-Assessment Test, which helped improve my self-awareness as I had the time to observe myself better. Not only that, but I also think this activity allowed me to express and introduce myself more because I was able to use my own experiences and opinions.

WW4 - Mind Mapping 🧠🗺️

In our WW4, we did Mind Mapping, which focused on things related to our mind. We created a mind map that showed how we learn best. While making mine, I had a hard time because I realized that there was only one method that truly worked for me, and that was listening to podcasts while studying.

This was me when I was still a baby. Not gonna lie, I think I was pretty cute back then heh 🙈. My family would sometimes tell me that I was a “night baby” since I would sleep during the day but stay awake at night. Because of that, they had to take turns carrying me, as I was the type of baby who would cry whenever I wasn’t held, so it was very stressful for them.

Me when I was a toddler 🐷. Back then, I REALLY REALLY LOVED JOLLIBEE! Whenever I had the chance, I would ask my parents to buy me Jollibee, but since they preferred Mang Inasal, the usual setup was that I ate first at Jollibee and then they ate afterward at Mang Inasal or somewhere else they liked more. I also still can’t forget how I used to be scared of the Jollibee mascots cuz I just found them weird and creepy.

Preschool was the stage where I made lots of friends. It was also the time when I learned many new things that I didn’t know before. For example, I used to think the highest number was 100 because I believed that was the maximum number. This was also the stage when I learned to ride a bike, but I still had two mini wheels to support me hehe 😋.

Fast forward to the present!!! I’m now an “oldie.” Even though I’m still young, I can’t help but miss my childhood because life back then felt so different compared to now. If I were to describe it, it’s kind of like the colors are duller than before, but I’m still very happy 🤗. I’ve achieved a lot of things, and I’m eagerly looking forward to what the future holds.

Elementary I think, was the most fun part of my childhood. I made friends who are still my friends today and experienced many new things. This was the stage where I had a lot of iconic moments that my family, friends, and I still talk about. There were fewer bad times and more good times, filled with laughter. It was basically the stage where I had a lot of “firsts" 🐛.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE SHINOBU!!! The first time I saw her in Demon Slayer, I IMMEDIATELY fell for her!!! I adore her design, personality, and story huhu! I was really looking forward to her fight in the movie, and for me, it was one of the best fights in the series ever 🥹.

Every night before I sleep, I make sure to read at least three chapters of a manhwa. I always look forward to the new chapter updates of the ongoing stories I follow. I particularly enjoy reading western historical ones because I love the outfits, settings, and overall vibe they give. Not to mention, I find this genre much more colorful compared to the others 👸.

My best friends, whom I love the most! No words can describe how happy I am whenever the five of us are together 💓. My world became so much brighter because of them, and I’m really thankful for that. I’m not the type of person to say these things directly since we’re a group of friends who show affection through “violence” 💝. But I truly hope we’ll continue to be best friends until we’re oldies. Making my Career Road Map helped me reflect on my goals and the journey I want to take to achieve them. I was able to visualize the steps I need to follow, from senior high school to eventually becoming a dentist. It also made me realize the importance of planning ahead and staying focused on my dreams. While creating and decorating it, I felt inspired and motivated to keep working hard for my future, especially since I also plan to work abroad someday. 🚶🏻‍♀️.

My favorite topics were Knowing Oneself and Powers of the Mind. I liked Knowing Oneself because it helped me understand my personality, values, and emotions better.
