·         Business reasons- such as in formal rooms which are important this could lead to deals etc. most big travel and tourism businesses will have conferences to improve their services and seal deals e.g. Thomas Cook

  • A business conference is held for people working in the same company or industry. They come together to discuss new trends and opportunities pertaining to the business
  • A trade conference takes place on a larger scale. Besides businessmen, there are members of the public who come to network with vendors and made new connections. Such a conference consists of workshops and white paper presentations.

In there they will cover topics such as: how social inequalities, climate change and environment that have affected the spread of the Zika virus and about current cutting edge knowledge on epidemiology transmission, intervention and the effect of Zika of unborn babies.

    Egypt is to stage a major tourism conference in Cairo next week to which it has invited international tourism stakeholders.


    The one-day event will include an update on developments and enhancements to security following the downing of a Russian passenger jet shortly after it left the resort Sharm el Sheikh, where a bomb is believed to  have been smuggled onboard.
    This is to develop tourism and encourage more visitors to come. As tourism is one of the main contributors toward Egypt's economy.

    This is a conference for zookeepers in Cincinnati, OH. The aim of this conference is to discuss animal welfare and management. It is being hosted by the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden with planned visits including Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. 

    There is key not speakers at the conference as well as pre-conference workshops and sponsored stands.
