What sort of questions will I be asked in the interview?

The questions are focused upon your poster content and topic area. The questions are designed to encourage you to tell us what you know about the topic. There will be around 5/6 questions so keep your answers succinct to fit within the 10 mins and focus upon the important 'need to know' information related to your topic area.

How long is the interview?

The interview will last 10 mins, you won't be cut off if you are still answering at 10 mins but we try to stick to time as much as possible.

How do I print my poster?

You can print your poster (A1 size) in the resources room, the staff there will advise on how to do this so give yourself time to do it in advance of the exhibition (9am on Friday 1st Dec). So Ideally have it printed on the 1st December.

Do I need to submit my poster online?

Yes please- just one person per group needs to do this so that we have a digital version of your poster. Also submit your references along with the poster.

Is the poster assessed?

No - the poster is not formally assessed (i.e., it doesn't carry any marks towards your grade for task 1). It is however essential to complete the poster as it forms the focus of the discussion for the final (assessed) interview.

How many case studies should I include on my poster?

As many as you like - the important thing is to keep it relevant to the poster theme and the issues that you are presenting - does the case study demonstrate how a key issue has been addressed in practice? Remember to keep the poster content balanced between the key legislation and policy, key case law and some examples (case studies).

Do I need to add references to my poster?

Yes - you need to reference any sources used in the APA style. The reference list can be added separately as a printed sheet to the back of the poster.
