Gregor says that "We've to get her out of there"! Also, Gregor treats everyone fairly because if he knows that they will help him in the quest. He risks his life to save others because it will pay off. Also, at page 149, "So that was it." "Now he understood". "Its because she's a rat", he said. "You're just going to sit here and watch her drown because she's a rat, right? Everyone works together for example in the first book, "Gregor the Overlander". About 12 people are working together to find Gregor's dad.  
No matter what species if they dislike or not, they all work together. They encounter many obstacles. Such as rats that are trying to kill them when on this journey. One cockroach  named Tick sacrificed her life for Gregor's little sister, Boots. Every cockroach in the under land treats Boots very well and calls her a "princess". Tick also shared her food with Boots, showing how they worked together, even risking their lives. Another example of showing the theme "working together", is that in "Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane",   Ripred teaches Gregor how to control his skills because he is a "rager", which means he has advanced skills in fighting than any other person. Ripred and Gregor are rages, however, Ripred teaches Gregor how to control his skills. I also work together with many people even though I may despise of like. For example, one time during school, when my group and I, needed help on a project and none of us knew what to do next. One of our group members who does not talk a lot, and is very sheepish gave us the answer. That was one of the only times he talked during the group project. Is that they have a rat named "Ripred", who is a rat. In the under land, all the rats are the villains in the book. But, some are on the heroes side. Ripred trains Gregor because they both are "ragers" which means that they're capable of stronger fighting skills and have better vision, etc. Ripred knows how to control his skills but Gregor does not. Therefore, Ripred helps Gregor control his skills. It relates to Harry Potter because in Harry Potter, people work together just like they do in "Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane". In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, people work together to fight off someone called "Voldemort", Voldemort is trying to steal something call the "Sorcerer's Stone". The stone allows to make them live forever, unless the stone breaks.
