Don't get me wrong, I fully believe in the idea of God ordaining someone to do something. However, I do not feel as though this "Manifest Destiny" truly came from God. In my opinion, this idea of expanding westward, because God "destined" America to, came from man's greed.  In the end, it turned out decently for America, but many Indians were, yet again, forced off of their own land and many conflicts occurred as a result of expansion.
