In my eyes George is now a Coward and Lennie is now outgoing. I think George is a coward because He didn't stick up for Lennie at all, all he said to do was to "get him" and then he ha t stop Lennie from doing anything else to Curley. Like he wasn't just telling Lennie to "get him".  I think Lennie is outgoing because I didn't know that he could get mad like that and beat someone up like he did. This passage allowed me to see that Lennie is more considerate then I thought he was . I misjudged his consideration for incompetence in majority of the chapters.

George : 
This passage allowed me to see that George is conscientious . Because he knew that fighting Lennies battle for him would not benefit him in the long run. George knew that he had to let Lennie stand up for himself and take control over the situation , even if that was the last thing he wanted to do.

I’m actually happy George did this because it gave Lennie a taste of what it feels to defend yourself.
