I have two grown sons both work in the oilfield industry, following in my father and grandfathers footsteps.  My husband is self employed working in communications and travels all over the United States. He is considering retiring in the next year and his possible retirement is what prompted me to finally get my Masters degree. I started my career working in education, then moved into the non-profit sector and was the Assistant Director of a youth counseling agency and youth homeless shelter for ten years. After becoming restless I made a move to the State and started working in Child Welfare as a child abuse investigator where I worked with Law Enforcment, District Attorney's and Mutidiscplinary Teams to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect. I was a CW Investigator for five years and then moved into Foster Care worked in Foster Care for about a year and decided I needed some time off. After staying home for two years I became bored and decided to pursue my alternative teaching certificate and then my Masters in school counseling. I needed a schedule that allowed summer and winter breaks so my husband and I could travel if we wanted or spend time with Kinslee. I am not ready for retirement I feel like
