I can’t believe the time has come! It still doesn’t feel real, but I know it’s not truly “goodbye” and is more of a “see you later”. The cardio team won’t be the same without you! You have been an integral part of our team for so long and have made such a positive impact on the lives of staff, patients, and families by the way you’ve supported them in any way shape or form they needed in any given moment. You helped shape the child life support role into what it is today and we are forever thankful! Thank you for being such a caring and supportive colleague, always checking on me and supporting me through my recovery and transition back to work this year. I will never forget all of the days you cheered us on, picked us up when we were down, and always knew what we needed even when we didn’t - especially on wild Fridays and mornings when the coffee wasn’t strong enough. You have always told us how important the work we’re doing is and I will always carry that with me on hard days. We’re so beyond proud and happy for you that you’ve taken the next step in your journey and hope that you have the happiest, most restful and adventurous retirement! Miss you already!!!!
