Thanks to her good habits, she began to cook her own bread at home. Her friends at the gym realiezed that she was eating a special bread, so one day Mary carried  her bread so that her friends tried it. 
Consequently, Mary's bread was a success. Today she has a big company that produces diferent items. For example, bread, musli, cookies, coconut cookies, and sodas. She owns two stores, and she sells her products in the principal markets in Colombia.

This is the case of Jeronimo Martins from Portugal which is known in the market as Tiendas Ara.  This is a supermarket chain. Another well known business is Tiendas D1. The Company's name is Koba Colombia, from Medellin. This kind of supermarket chain affects a lot of neighborhoods like mine, Hayuelos. In the beginning, our neighborhood was entirely residential. When this supermarkets arrived, a lot of small businesses and stores had to close as a result of the low costs.

At first, cleaning products were very cheap and it was a wonderful benefit for the customers like me.  While the time was passing, other stores were opening around those stores (Ara and D1) , with the idea to be near their customers. As a result, a whole street started to be so commercial. At this moment Hayuelos is not the same quiet and peaceful neighborhood it usd to be.

Next to the Shopping center is a big Jumbo store. Nowadays, Jumbo is divided in half and on the other half an Easy Store was set up. A D1 store was opened recently, maybe 4 months ago. A lot of people visit the shopping mall, but around it we have unformal sellers on the streets and sometimes they don't respect the people, they litter, they ask for money and  encourage the unsafety. It´s not good for the comunity at all. We want safety, clean spaces an enjoy all the advantages that the shopping mall provides us.

The restaurant delivered pizzas to the main colleges in Bogotá. Due to the covid -19 emergency this business was affected, and the opwners of restaurant were thinking about a solution that avoids closing the establishment.The solution was allying with rappi and other delivery apps. Althought it was a great solution, it became more and more complicated by the logistics involved in home delivery. As a consequence the dynamics changed and the gastronomy lost its essence.
