Explain: Growing up Jeannette would believe all the fantasies her father would tell her to explain the reason they were leaving a certain town. When she got older she began to realize they weren't running from the FBI but bill collectors.

Explain: After the whole incident when Jeannette caught on fire and went to the hospital she wasn't scared of fire. It's as if she forgave the fire and became more intrigued with it, lighting things on fire and watching it burn.

Explain: Jeannette has this unconditional love for her father and knows that he can change and stop drinking. After their conversation he took her question to heart and tried to stop drinking for his favorite child  as her birthday gift.
