Scott died, the synagogue was renamed as the Scott Institute. Morris became the superintendent and devoted his time towards the church and people in dire situations. Before the creation of The Scott Mission, the two dedicated their time to help the people in need with the Scott Institute’s Soup kitchen from the 1920s to 1930s. Morris decided to resign from the church to the start the Scott Mission at 724-726 Bay St. in 1941, so that he can continue to help those in need. (later moved to 502 Spadina Ave. after getting more money) Morris and Annie continued helping with the Scott Mission until their deaths (Morris-1964, Annie- 1992). Even with the large variety of programs, The Scott Mission is able to meet people’s standards and exceed them. On the website, there are many stories of people with their experiences at The Scott Mission. Although their experiences were different due to the different programs, there was one thing in common. The people always had a wonderful experience. This is because this charity is able to provide people with basic necessities and a safe place to stay.
In 2017 The Scott Mission gave 95,000 hot meals,and 26,000 groceries. On top of that, they have 64 beds for those who need a place to stay.
In 2018 The Scott Mission has also helped many people including Katalin, and Vale who had their stories on The Scott Mission website.
Katalin came to The Scott Mission was able to get snowsuits for her two children.
“Our life has changed since I’ve been coming to the Mission for food and also for clothes. It’s a really big help,” Katalin says. 
Vale, was homeless and hungry on the streets when he first came to the Scott Mission. He was provided with shelter, food, and lots of support from the people working.
 “I wondered, ‘Are these people really this supportive? How can I be so fortunate to be here?’” Vale recalls.

 By reading the experiences from just these two people, you can see that The Scott Mission serves its clients with care and is able to meet their goals.

This shows that most of their efforts go towards making high quality programs. The Scott Mission has a surplus 1,315,000, even though that is not exactly wanted. This surplus shows that there are places that they can use their money in, like fundraising.
