         <description><![CDATA[<p>Breakdance hasn't been modernized per say, its maintained the same throughout the years, the only thing that has changed is its popularity and influence in the media. </p><ul><li><p>It originated in the Bronx during the late 60s </p></li><li><p>In 1982, Rock Steady Crew went to the Roxxy European HipHop tour performing in London and Paris. This is also when the term “Breakdancing” originated. It was a miswording by the R.S.C manager. The right term for this dance is Breaking</p></li><li><p>By the early 80s a lot of breakdance groups had appeared in TV shows; For example, The NYC breakers appeared in the pilot for Graffiti Rock in 1984.</p></li><li><p>Now a days, Breaking has received the recognition of being a sport and having the ability to present in the 2024 Olympics  </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Born in NYC, 1966. Ken Swift is a second generation b-boy. Longtime member and keyfigure of the Rock Steady Crew and former vice president.</p></li><li><p>In 1996 Ken co-authored, co-directed, co-choreographed and performed Off-Broadway's first hip hop musical&nbsp;Jam On The Groove For these achievements, Ken received a Bessie Award for choreography. In 1999, hip hop Culture was inducted into the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame and Museum for which Ken was asked to produce an installation. </p></li><li><p>Ken has become a judge for various hip hop competitions around the world. He wrote a book titled ‘The Art of Breaking’</p></li></ul>]]></description>
