In 1996 Ken co-authored, co-directed, co-choreographed and performed Off-Broadway's first hip hop musical Jam On The Groove For these achievements, Ken received a Bessie Award for choreography. In 1999, hip hop Culture was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum for which Ken was asked to produce an installation.
Ken has become a judge for various hip hop competitions around the world. He wrote a book titled ‘The Art of Breaking’
