This is a 0.28% increase from 2020, which could suggest that because of covid, people had less jobs since business was slower and people would be staying inside their homes and ordering food.

Inflation rate is involved in this Pandemic as Food prices have increased by around 12% than the year before. The price of vaccines have increased, as a dose is round $30. Not only has this affected the basic needs and supplies such as: Food and Water, it has also affected the Medication as I have mentioned. If we look into this more, the medicines and vaccines for kids ( Especially ) have dropped. What I mean by this is that these medicines are short in supply. According to Forbes.com, some of the medicines for kids are Antibiotics. What this has done is that it has increased the demand for the basic supplies. For example, the price of food products such as Fruits and Vegetables have also increased in India. Some food products have even increased by around 50% in my country. This is also a long-term impact world-wide. The Impacts on the Inflation Rates will stay for a few years at least, as well.

People were losing there jobs because of Covid-19, stores were closing, and businesses were shutting down. Covid-19 really affected the tourism sector, many people had to stay home and people lost their jobs, many tourist attraction were very quiet which is hard for the people who work there to make money. Around 230000 to 345000 would become unemployed, raising the unemployment rate from 0.7% in 2019, to 3.2%-4.4% in 2020. So, countries like Mexico suffered during the covid-19 pandemic because tourism contributes in their GDP and unemployment rate.

During Covid people were losing their jobs because of the Covid work place restrictions, people can't go to work normally and companies shut down due to the restrictions also. If they catch Covid, they might get fired or laid off for not working. If we work as a tourist agent or guide then our job is useless during the pandemic since we can't travel out of the country unless we pay money or take a covid test. Businesses are slower and if it's a small business then there might be a lack of money for supplies.

The Unemployment rates have also been affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in many ways. Firstly, the Quarantines have led to Working or Studying Online. This is a huge impact for Business sectors. Some of the Businesses and Jobs are done onsite. When doing them online, it is much harder to interact with people. This economic indicator has also been affected as according tp Forbes.com, a lot of employees have gotten symptoms of Covid-19. Back then, there were Variants such as the Delta. These Variants were very dangerous and deadly, which is why the jobs of these employees who were sick were affected. there was a big risk that a lot of them wouldn't be able to work anymore, which means that they would not have a job. In India, the unemployment rate was around 5.98 percent in 2019. It increased to a whopping 8% in 2020, when the Pandemic took place.
