After Napoleon, King John and the royal family did not return to Portugal right away. In 1822 King John reported back to Portugal because of the colony's demand. He left his son Pedro in Brazil to rule and Brazil became a colony once more. They created a Constituent Assembly and deputies. Pedro then traveled around Brazil to gain support after attempts at mutinies. Soon later Portugal wanted to remove all raining powers, hearing this Brazil declared independence and Pedro became Emperor.

During the Napoleonic wars German speakers began to feel a sense of unity. Soon later some German states began to join together. After some revolutions happened 1848 the Frankfurt Assembly was called and pushed for a United German Constitution. The vote offered Fedrick William the Forth or Prussia to have the support of Germany. Soon Otto Von Bismarck became the kings chancler, he wanted to expand through blood and iron. He took advantage of other crisis to start wars so he didn't look power hungry. His actions helped create Germany today.

The Herman empire was founded in 1871. This became of the North German state of Prussia. The nationality was very high and the Country was very homogonous. The country was encouraged and governed by Otto Von Bismarck. Whom believed that war's must be fought and nationalism must be spread through iron and bloodshed. He is one of the very reasons that Germany is alive today. He outsmarted his enemies with starting wars. For example the French and Austria to gain German independence.

Italy was divided into many different independent states. Soon Napoleon created a Kingdom in the North but, once he was defeated they reverted back to independent states. In 1848 many of the states began to rebel, which failed. So, they gained alliance with the British and French. They attacked Austria in 1858 starting the second attempt at Italy's independence. The kingdom of Italy was soon declared in 1861.

The kingdom of Italy was established in 1861. The main reason for this revolution was in 1796-1815 when Napoleon dominated Italy. After the fall of Napoleon, Italy gained allies with the French and British to fight Austria. By the time of 1861 most of Italy was united. The last unification happen in Rome the year of 1870, which is the last of the revolution.

During Napoleonic wars in 1807 King John and his family took refuge in Brazil. Shortly after the wars ended the royal family moved back to Portugal all expect the Prince. Which he installed in Brazil a ministry, Council of State, Supreme Court, Royal treasure, Royal Mint, and Bank of Brazil. This was believed to be a new era for Brazil. This caused hatred to arise between Brazil and Portugal. Many were afraid that an independence movement would arise and they tried to send the Prince back to Portugal. Then in 1822 he delivered a speech that declared Brazil's independence and many Brazilians supported his decision and they were then seen as independent and the Prince was made emperor.
