         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>What do terracotta warriors tell us about life in ancient China? - Studying the terracotta warriors can tell archaeologists a lot about ancient Chinese life. Archaeologists analyzed the soles of the statues' shoes and compared them to modern shoes. The ancient soles provided as much support and comfort as modern soles. They were even better than modern in slippery environments. Good shoes helped Chinese travel faster for longer, making them a powerful army. Ancient China had many sophisticated technologies which put them ahead of other countries. The fact that their shoes rival modern shoes just reinforces the idea.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>]]></description>
