1. Parents that abuse their own usually suffer from a mental illness, for example, bipolar disorder, where they think and act irrationally. Or parents that are suffering from an addiction I think would be abuse their children whether it's physically or emotionally for not being there for them.
2. I think putting an end to child abuse is a hard topic to prevent as we can monitor the privacy of every families lives. The best thing would be to have a foundation to report to and even surprise check ups once a year so families cannot prepare to lie to child protection services.
3. I think children are too scared to speak up about what is happening to them because they might think that is what is right since they know nothing else, or they are scared to speak out of fear for further punishment from their parents if they have been threatened.

1. Parents who abuse children usually abuse their children because they either have some kind of problem, usually a mental problem. These problems may be illness or some traumatic occurrence that happened in the parents life.
2. I think the best way to help end child abuse without getting into their private lives is by creating a system where the child could easily and without worry be able to report any problems they are having to authorities. This of course is difficult as people need to be sure that abuse is really occurring within a family and at the same time need to be able to trust the children.
3. I think children are afraid to speak up as they are afraid they wont be taken seriously if they tell any authorities. I know this is true as I have a close friend who told me about a similar story where they were abused and tried to report it but it ended up bad for them.

1. Adults who abuse there children suffered abuse or ill treatment in there childhood which makes it more likely for them to abuse their own children.Abusive parents grew up with harsh methods of discipline, they may be more prone to violence and they take it out on their children.
2.Child abuse can be taken care of by having places where these kids can go where they could get support from helpful people and they could report the things that happen to them in the abuse continues to happen.
3.I think that they are to scared because children who are most vulnerable, least powerful, and least likely to be able to protect themselves from a powerful adult.
