chlorophyll-a green material or pigment found inside chloroplast that traps the sun's energy.
glucose-a type of sugar made inside chloroplasts. Light energy breaks down water and carbon dioxide to form a new material, glucose.
carbon dioxide-an odorless, colorless gas in the atmosphere that animals, including humans, give off as they breathe. Plants use CO2 to make food.
oxygen-an odorless, colorless gas given off as waste from plants which all animals must have to breathe.
stomata- tiny holes on the underside of leaves that take in carbon dioxide
