Community interventions and the varied nature of it, is good for reach and understanding and it is building the capacity of our teams to manage, communicate and implement

Approach towards pilot testing--coordination, practices classes, feedback and adaptations is working well

Caregiver engagement is working well and the in-depth and above and beyond approach

Need a workable model that is all inclusive - focusing on practical realities across demographies

Current practices - I think working closely with educators where we handhold them on inclusive practices in learning spaces- work well. Challenges - sustaining these inclusive practices at scale as UDL still a new concept for India.

Policy frameworks like the NEP, NCF detail out the pathway, but systemic implementation is required.
Data is a major gap i.e. no. of children with disabilities, no. of first generation learners etc. that acts as a barrier for designing and implementing policies based on the needs.
Improving intersectoral (i.e. health, education etc.) coordination
Training of educators and empowering caregivers

We need to look at intersecting identities that play a critical role in early years especially in India- Gender, Disability, Culture, etc.

Defining what is our core intervention--so that when all else is excluded, this will make the most important impact

Collaboration with other organizations--for example Astha--since they are seasoned in the field we should collaborate with orgs and learn from them

Capacity building of our team with collaboration with orgs in the inclusive space--immersions and workshops

Defining our communications by goal and stakeholder--actively pursuing our goals whether it be sensitization, attracting donors and/or policy influencers

Internal: Team culture and practicing inclusion within team.
