I read that people started with a book and now read a lot of books. When I was a student my English teacher told me to read books without dictionary and traslating. For me it was very difficult so I didn’t follow his advices. Now I found that He was right. I ‘ve tried Extensive Reading not only Italian books, but also English books. I think it’s very important reading for pleasure and I’m very glad when my student come to school with a new book that they have just read at home with passion. I think students can learn more reading without a dictionary because they can improve their ability to understand new words from context and can read more quickly. This week I have just created an Extensive Reading in CLIL lesson plan where pupils start to read a story together and try to understand new words from context. It has been five weeks of hard work. Now, after five weeks of full immersion, I can say I know much more CLIL method. I think that Extensive Reading is a very interesting experience. In this Techno-CLIL couse I have created an Extensive Reading in CLIL lesson plan where pupils start to read a story together and try to understand new words from context. I think it is more funny and easier for children.I think that the technologies for CLIL are nowadays important and they can improve the interaction between the teacher and students. Indeed they compose an indispensable part of the foreign language teaching methods because attract students attention and enhance their motivation. However I think that are necessary some pedagogical adjustments about using the ITC at all levels of educations. Think about cyberbullying. In my job I like using technologies, especially when I thought English and teach Italian because I can realize more creative and interesting activities. With the technologies for CLIL it is easier to incorporate all the activities that I would like my students to learn from. In this Techno-CLIL couse I have created my first video course too.It has been a fantastic and wonderful course and I hope to participate the next Techno-CLIL.
