         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) promotes two strategies to reduce the number of alcohol exposed pregnancies.&nbsp; The first strategy is alcohol screening and brief intervention (SBI).&nbsp; The SBI is intended to help determine the women of childbearing who are consuming alcohol.&nbsp; It can be part of a patient's wellness visit that includes screening questions, conversations, and referrals to specialized treatment.&nbsp; The second strategy is CHOICES.&nbsp; Choices is a counseling intervention for non-pregnant women that helps them to reduce or stop their drinking, use contraceptive effectively, or both.</div>]]></description>

Many binge drink during first few months as they are unaware they are even expecting. UK has one of the worst rates of drinking while pregnant. Britain has one of the highest rates of FAS, estimated 61.3 cases/10,000 births which is higher than global average of 15 out of 10,000.
