(a) Where are we now with regards to developing Internationalism in our divisions?

currently we:

- Have a position focused on helping incorporate Internationalism in our school

- MUN (grade 8-12)

-We have students who move on to universities all over the world

-We have an international staff and student population

-Mother-Tongue Day, International Day

-Individual motivation (looking for a united continuation)

-Internationalism is a integral part of the written curriculum with case studies and examples in subject areas such as Humanities, Modern Languages, Art, Natural Sciences etc.

-Everyday, though use of technology we are being drawn into using examples from an international perspective

(b) What aspects of internationalism do we need to develop in our divisions?

-Get out and experience/ integrate with local and regional community and culture

-Interschool or international math competition

-First focus on, and incorporate, IB provided International concepts/ suggestions in DP courses, then create our own Internationalism goals

-Better communicate and publicize and incorperate

(c) How do we implement these aspects?

-Follow through with our plan to create a Service Learning Coordinator position to help follow and incorporate Internationalism into our Service Learning Projects

-Show TOK Presentation videos on an annual basis

-Continue with our current practice of expanding on real world examples that relate to our topics

-Some sort of Communication Position that helps show the world what we are doing to expose students to the world and cultures other then ours
