1. The barriers can be for the younger slot coming to next class (age) as they have no idea about it. It will be difficult to make them understand. Illiteracy in parents does not help children. They cannot support their children. Parents are not tech savy, or both parents are working, no time for children. We need to make them understand in such a way so that they understand its importance. Some training for teachers as well. In subjects like maths, its difficult to give them topic for ELP or project. Making them understand to work as a team is very important. We need to make the children understand the learning outcome of the ELP projects is difficult and that is something which is important. Many children face technical issues…like no devices, no internet, low bandwidth, etc. Diff in class 3 and class 6 is ego issues..they do not mingle. Lack of interest in some students.

Q1. What will be the challenges and barriers experienced in implementing project based learning?A.1LACK OF INTERNET AVAILABILITY, DUPLICACY OF WORK AND LACK OF ORIGINALITY AS STUDENTS MIGHT COPY FROM FRIENDS, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNOLOGY, LACK OF ACCESS TO DEVICES/SOFTWARE/GADGETS. STUDENTS DON’T STICK TO DEADLINES. ORIENTATION OF PARENTS IS REQUIRED WHEN DEALING WITH TECHNOLOGY, TEAMWORK IS NOT UTILIZED TO THE CORE AS ONLY FEW TEAM MEMBERS CONTRIBUTE. LACK OF ENGAGEMENT OF STUDENTS (APPROX 10 IN EVERY CLASS ARE NOT INTERESTED) FOR THIS PROJECTS NEED TO HAVE MORE FACE VALUE. e.g.. A PROJECT TO TO CHECK ELECTRICITY BILL IS MORE REAL TIME AS COMPARED TO A PROJECT ON DISASTERS. ALSO FIELD TRIPS CAN BE UTILIZED TO AROUSE INTEREST IN THE STUDENTS.ASSIGNENT OF TOPIC SHOULD BE AS PER CHOICE OF STUDENTS INSTEAD OF THEM GETTING RESTRICTED IN THE FORM OF WRITTEN WORK AS THIS MIGHT AROUSE INTEREST IN PASSIVE LEARNERS.MORE FLEXIBILITY TO THE TEACHERS

Q2) How can ELP and Unit Project be made more fruitful for preparing future ready learners?A.2MORE COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES BASED ON REASONING & CRITICAL ANALYSIS SKILLS. EASY & STANDARDIZED RUBRICS TO EVALUATE STUDENTS BASED ON THEIR RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE. USING BETTER METHODS E.G. GROUP DISCUSSIONS SO THAT AVAILABILITY OF TECGNOLOGY IS NOT A HINDRANCE IN THE PROCESS. GIVE STUDENTS AS MUCH CONTROL OF THEIR LEARNING AS WE CAN. PUT STUDENTS IN SITUATIONS WHERE THEY MUST COMMUNICATE. DESIGN OF ELP SHOULD BE DONE IN A MANNER SO THAT EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES FOR BETTER MONITORING THE STRENGTH OF STUDENTS SHOULD BE LESS IN EACH GROUP, CROSS QUESTIONING AMONG THE STUDENTS SO THAT THEY PRESENT THEIR IDEAS WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.

Ans1 - Implementing project-based learning is a very challenging job for every teacher as it requires changes in all major aspects such as curriculum, learning strategies, and the roles of both teachers and students in the learning process.
First, it is the time factor. Time limitation is a major factor causing teachers not to implement project-based learning.
The second factor is the teacher’s capability. Teachers function as facilitators who accompany, and guide students in project completion. Therefore, the teacher should master the project being done by the students. This lack of factor will obstruct the project execution. Lack of the capability due to the teacher has never attended any special training related to the implementation of project-based learning.
The third factor is student’s skills. Students act as executors who will prepare and execute the project. Therefore, students need the skills that will be used in completing the project, including: discipline, teamwork, and activeness.
The availability of the resources also is big barrier in executing the project based learning.

In this process, they (the students) will discover and present convincing reasons in support of their answers or thinking.
Ways to support learners to become better critical thinkers are as follows:

1. Questions to students must motivate them to dig up background knowledge. They should inspire them to make connections to real-world scenarios.

PBL can be made more fruitful for preparing future ready learners by giving students as much control of their learning as we can.
We can empower them to find what they need when they need it. We can help them tailor their education to what works for them so they'll know how to do it later. By helping them to adapt new learning tools. As the world changes, more and more options will exist for getting things done. We can help students know how to learn new tools instead of just teaching them the ones that are useful now. That skill will endure and by giving students opportunities to be creative. Creativity is a skill that we can help students develop. Plus, it's a skill that's increasingly necessary where more cognitively complex jobs are in demand.

How can teachers infuse competencies into their planning especially critical thinking and suggest ways to support learners to become better critical thinkers?

By putting students in situations where they must communicate.
New ideas and concepts are becoming more and more valuable in the world. So we can involve students in group discussions, debate etc.. by giving them opportunities to exchange their ideas. By Connecting students globally and by helping them by adding value.
We can put students in touch with people with different viewpoints, perspectives and experiences. And we can show them how to make those connections themselves.
We need to put lot of questions, surveys, Discussions, Integration with subject and enable them to think, real life problems can be included to make them think and write. Peer- and self-assessment help students become independent learners who understand their own strengths and needs and know how to set goals and monitor their own progress.
Project-based assessments are an alternative to tests that allow students to engage with their learning in more concrete ways.
Instead of merely studying theory, a hands-on project asks students

What will be the challenges and barriers experienced in implementing project based learning?

# Lack of recourses
# Fear of failure
# Lack of guidelines
#Lack of information about the topic so pre - knowledge may be useful
# Parents literacy
# Lack of time
# Lack of commitment
# Lack of collaboration

What will be the challenges and barriers experienced in implementing project based learning? *Challenges and barriers would be that the workload of the students needs to be managed, teamwork is a challenge, then the students attitude towards the project is sometimes ambigious. Moreover, the attendance is sometimes poor and has to be monitored. Equal contribution coming from each member is a problem. Technical glitches are there and data problem is there.

How can ELP and Unit Project be made more fruitful for preparing future ready learners? *They can be made more fruitful by having an integrated subject approach and a practical based approach. The parents need to be informed about it and it has to be given adequate time. Proper training has to be provided to the students and problem solving questions should be given which will enhance their critical thinking. Links to important resources should be shared and they should be taken on field visits to explore the project.

How can teachers infuse competencies into their planning especially critical thinking and suggest ways to support learners to become better critical thinkers? *We can give them certain situations and real life problems where they will need to apply their critical thinking and help them by giving hints and key points. We can also give them the freedom to learn by trial and error and thereby, learn from their experiences and also by coordinating with each other. We can also make them connect the topic to their surroundings in order to enhance their critical thinking.

But when it comes to real class room learning, children are not provided with a device to do live work sheets or quizziz . so inorder to overcome this, a softare can be developed from the schoolside where the children can use similar apps and live worksheets or takepart in quizzizz to make learning more successful. Actually children are not provided with a device like a laptop or molile phone in real class room .but in online class room they use it to do games an dlinks .ways and means should be formed to overcome this.
