These books can all be reenacted in the block center as well as the sand center. I would have the construction equipment in the sand center for the students to use and have the books available nearby in the center after reading for the students to be able to reference if they choose to. I would have the construction books available in the block center for the students to use to construct the buildings or similar constructions as the imagery in the books that were previously read and would have them available for the students to reference back as well if they would like.

Print Rich Hopeful Achievements

By having a print rich environment, the teachers in my classroom are hoping to make the words more common and recognizable to the students. We want the students to be curious about the words and ask what they are and what they mean. Hoping that they will relate the words to the items that they are placed by.

Reading Center with Felt Board

The children will have access to the felt board along with bags of different characters relating to the stories that are available with the bags. The students are encouraged to use the characters to act out the stories that are relative.
