The chichen itza pyramid is a gigantic structure that was used by the Mayans as calendars, sacred rituals and to track celestial events. Monuments of Chichen Itza were astronomically aligned.
This displayed the extraordinary knowledge of astronomy and mathematics in the Mayans' construction.
