         <description><![CDATA[<div>Gray wolves breed in late winter usually by the are of 3. After gestation (63 days) about 6 pups are born in a den in the ground. When the wolf's reach 8 weeks old the parents move them to another den. By October the pups will weight about 60 pounds and are aloud to travel with adults. Little gray wolves usually stay with an adults for 2 years, making a pack. Wolves eat moose and deer, beavers and other small animals add to there diet. Gray wolves are more successful taking old, weak, or injured party. The state and federal government held bounties on the wolves like their Greek ancestors did.  This started a widespread hunt for wolves.
