The main conflict:

The documentary tries to find out if the Collector is dead, arrested for another crime, or just waiting to return to action. The tension grows when the team that is producing the film receives an anonymous envelope with a cassette tape inside - and in it, a recording of someone describing exactly what they were doing during filming.

The Collector

Opening:

Image: A deserted street at night. Old newspaper headlines. Distant sirens.

Narrator:

The Collector. A name that paralyzed the city. A criminal with no face, no body, no end. Then he suddenly vanished. Dead? Arrested? Or simply waiting to begin again?

Soundtrack: tense music.

Interviews

Dark room, camera fixed on a retired police officer.

Retired Police Officer:

He never left a trace. He only took something from his victims. A necklace, a watch, even a coat button. That’s why they called him the Collector. It was as if he kept pieces of their lives.

Cut to an elderly city resident.

Resident (restless):

After the last murder, there was silence. But those of us who lived through it know… silence doesn’t mean peace. It means waiting. He will come back.

Journalist, sitting at a table with piles of files.

Journalist:

The investigations were closed. But there are recent reports… people who swear they’ve seen someone watching, always from across the street.

The documentary crew

Behind the scenes: young filmmakers adjusting cameras, nervous laughter, a microphone falling.

Narrator:

As we investigated, we believed we were chasing a story. But soon we realized… the story might be chasing us.

The envelope scene

Close-up on an envelope on the table. The crew’s gloved hands open it. Inside: a cassette tape.

Sound: the click of the recorder pressing play.

Narrator:

No sender. No clues. Just a tape… and the feeling that we were being watched.

The tape scene

Black screen as the tape begins to play. A distorted voice starts.

Voice on tape:

While you were setting up the cameras, I was there. In the alley, behind the building. I saw when one of you dropped the microphone. I saw the sweat on your forehead. You never look behind you. I always do.

Slow-motion footage of the behind-the-scenes shoot. Now, a shadow can be seen standing still in the background.

Documentary Crew Member:

My God, that was yesterday. That shadow was there the whole time.

Fast-paced cuts:

• The crew running out of a location at night.

• A shaky camera showing an empty alley.

• Footsteps echoing in sync with the crew’s heavy breathing.

Narrator:

The Collector. Had he disappeared, or had he simply chosen us as his new targets?

Retired Police Officer (more nervous):

If this tape is real, it means he never stopped. He was only waiting for the right moment.

Journalist:

Maybe he never left at all.

Climax

Another cassette tape is placed on the table. The camera slowly zooms in.

Voice on new tape:

You gave me a stage. Now let’s see who collects whom.

Cut to black.

Text on screen:

The Collector was never found.

Final soundtrack: very tense music

Title: The Last Bell

Scene 1 – Arrival (1 min)

An old church. Dust in the air. The sound of wind against broken windows.

• Enzo (low voice): “Wait… you guys heard that? The bell. It rang.”

• João Pedro (nervous): “Man… I don’t like this.”

• João Limongi (with a flashlight): “Relax. It’s just wood creaking.”

• Pedro (trying to laugh): “Yeah… let’s just stick together, alright?”

Distant footsteps echo inside the church. Everyone freezes.

Scene 2 – The Stranger (1:30 min)

The altar candles suddenly light up. The group gasps.

• Enzo: “Who’s there? Show yourself!”
  Silence. A dark figure — Guilhermo — appears by the crucifix.

• Guilhermo (deep, echoing): “You shouldn’t have woken the bell…”

• Pedro (shaking): “What the hell… what IS that?”

• João Pedro (quiet, scared): “Run…”

They rush to the door, but it slams shut with a deafening bang.

Scene 3 – The Confrontation (1:30 min)

Lights flicker. Guilhermo steps closer, slow and heavy.

• Enzo (trying to be brave): “What do you want from us?”

• Guilhermo (smirking): “A soul. Just one.”

Pedro stumbles and falls. Guilhermo looms over him.

• Pedro: “No! Don’t touch me!”

• João Pedro (desperate, to Enzo): “Do something!”

Enzo grabs a fallen cross from the floor and raises it high.

• Enzo (yelling): “You’re not taking any of us!”

The cross glows faintly. Guilhermo lets out a distorted scream, stumbling back.

Scene 4 – The Last Bell (1 min)

The church bell tolls on its own, shaking the walls. Guilhermo dissolves into black smoke.

The group breathes heavily, looking around in shock.

• João Limongi: “Is… is it over?”

• Pedro (voice trembling): “I’m never coming back here.”

• João Pedro (quietly): “Let’s leave… now.”

• Enzo (still staring at the altar): “…It’s not over. The bell will ring again.”

Camera slowly closes on Enzo’s face. A final bell toll echoes. Screen cuts to black.

THE END

Night Hunt Script

Conflict: A group of friends walk through the forest and see footprints that aren't theirs.

Characters: Ana, Camila, Isabella, Lara and Black Monster.

SCENE 1 – TRAIL / START OF THE RACE

Location: Entrance to an abandoned forest trail.

Laughter, flashlights on, cell phones recording stories.

Camila: "Whoever gets to the clearing first wins, loser pays for the pizza!"

They mark the timer and start running.

(Sound of heavy breathing + dry leaves being

SCENE 2 - THE FIRST STRANGEMENT

Middle of the trail.

Lara notices strange footprints in the mud, much larger than theirs.

Isabella starts to get scared: "These footprints... aren't ours."

Ana makes a joke, but in the background a very heavy branch snaps.

(Muffled sound, like footsteps running at the same speed as them.)

SCENE 3 – THE FEELING OF BEING PERSECUTED

Everyone picks up the pace.

Suddenly, the lanterns flicker. A shadow quickly crosses in front of them.

Lara: "It's no joke, someone is running with us."

Camila: "So let's see who runs the fastest!" (takes the lead, laughing).

SCENE 4 - TRAP ON THE CURVE

Camila turns a corner and disappears. The group runs after him, but only finds his flashlight lying on the ground.

A distant scream echoes.

Total silence soon after.

Isabella: "We have to get out of here now!"

SCENE 5 – THE HUNTER SHOWS HIS PRESENCE

Heavy breathing sounds behind them.

The group runs desperately, but they realize that their steps follow perfectly.

A quick flash of an elongated, inhuman shadow between the trees. It never fully appears.

SCENE 6 - FINAL RACE / THE CHOICE

They reach a fork in the road. Lia wants to take the familiar exit, Ana insists on taking a shortcut.

The sound of the creature getting closer and closer.

They decide to separate. (Camera follows Lara and Isabella.)

SCENE 7 - CLIMAX

As they run, the lanterns go out completely.

Almost total darkness.

Sound of something dragging, breathing behind them.

Isabella is pulled back in a sudden movement (the flashlight illuminates only her arm, disappearing into the darkness).

Lara screams, but keeps running.

SCENE 8 - OPEN OUTCOME

Final clearing.

Lara arrives alone, exhausted, out of breath.

Silence.

Suddenly, behind her, a shadow appears.

Screen goes black with the sound of accelerating footsteps and a muffled scream.

CUT TO BLACK.

On-screen text: "Could you run faster?"

Avenida Paulista, calçada.

Chico entra em seu trabalho...

Ele se aproxima de sua mesa cheia de folhas ainda a serem lidas... Casos ainda a serem resolvidos.

Listen up Chico, there's a new case for you, take or give?

Chico takes a look at his files, gory photos of lifeless boy apears.

CHIco

"Im always up to a strange one, what happened with the boy?"

He inspects once again the newly taken photos.

CHIEF OF POLICE

"Jumped of a building just this morning, or fell... That's what I expect you to discover."

CHICO

"On it. Do you have any more photos I can take a look at?"

CHIEF OF POLICE

"On the forensic room. Here, have my keys."

Chico walks of the the room, feeling a little disturbed.

He enters a red light room, with some photos newly revealed pinned to the wall.

He looks to the boys photo, actually a little intrigued... He pulls the photo even closer.

The photo glitches, with his image stamped on the boys face.

He runs out of the room, bumping into everyone who passed him, even his boss,he apologized to every single person though anyone seemed to even care.

He exits the office, going back home.

THE WALK

Pela fumaca desgraça que a gente tem que tossir.

He goes to the crosswalk waiting or the traffic light. Still red the city feels dense, scary, stressful.

Until...

Por me deixar respirar, por me deixar existir.

Green.

Chico walks calmly, everything seems so confortable, so reconforting... He continues his way home.

Home sweet home

Beijou sua mulher como se fosse a última

Chico opens the door carefully, to encounter the love of his life standing right by the door, with a warmth in his hands he liked her into his arms and danced...

Spin by spin he changed, more aggressive he turned.

Beijou sua mulher como se fosse lógico

He lost his hands and his temper...

Chico

"What do you think your doing, are you just going to stand there? I work day and night to come home for it to look like a dumbster, work your ass women."

Chico ran to the bedroom, opened the door to the bathroom, and glanced to the eyes of destiny... His mirror.

TELA PRETA.

And so he lost himself again.

Forever my always

Amou daquela vez como se fosse o ultimo

The both seated to have dinner, with love in their eyes, the two lovebirds shared a glass of wine

The girl

"Cheers?"

Chico

"Cheers my love."

And cheered he did, the glasses locked a firm contact, as if all his love turned into anger suddenly.

The glasses shattered.

Amou daquela vez como se fosse máquina.

Chico

"IM DONE!! I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE, YOU DONT DO ANTYHNG RIGHT."

Chico got his bag, got of the house and banged the door on the girls face.

TELA PRETA. Musica de fundo.

Boteco.

Sentou pra descansar como se fosse um pássaro.

Chico enters the boteco with his love,

Spending time with her and dancing though the bar together.

He goes for a hug...

THE SCENE CHANGES.

He bumps his chest with his friend, commemorating the win of their football team.

He asks the bar man for another round of drinks.

The two men pay their bill and head back to their homes...

Chico tries to cross the street with difficulty,

Stumbling in his own feet.

And falling to the ground.

Fortunally his friend saw him...

Friend

"Chi..c.o.. get up brother, your almost there."

And helped him with his last steps to get home.

The terrace

E pela paz derradeira que enfim vai nos redimir.

Chico enters his building, but instead of heading to his apartment once again, he goes to the terrace, hopping to see his favourite city's view.

He looks around.

Clings to the side of the barriers.

That's when...

And he never got to know, even in his death,

What was really his reality and what memories his mind scrumbled until his last breath.

Chico's face stamped in the dead body he though was another person's.

Morreu na contramão atrapalhando o tráfego.

Tela preta.

Aviso CVV e 180 denuncia violência doméstica.

Um homem chega ao prédio apresentando-se como detetive e dizendo que foi chamado para investigar recentes assassinatos. Ele ganha a confiança dos moradores, faz perguntas e finge procurar pistas. Na verdade, ele é o assassino e está usando a “investigação” como desculpa para circular pelo prédio sem levantar suspeitas.

Durante o curta, ele “descobre” pistas que na verdade ele mesmo deixou para manipular a história. Ele vai eliminando testemunhas uma por uma, sempre fingindo estar um passo atrás do criminoso.

No fim, uma das vítimas em potencial (um morador que desconfiava dele) encontra provas: fotos, a máscara, ou a arma que o detetive usava escondida. O disfarce cai.

Na cena final, o detetive é encurralado, mas antes de ser pego, olha para a câmera e sussurra:

“I was always the detective… and the killer.”

Fade out.

Daniel: I’m Daniel. You hit your head. Try to rest, okay?

(He smiles softly — but his eyes are cold.)

Morning light. Daniel brings her food. She notices the locked front door.

Anna: Why is the door locked?
Daniel: Just for safety. You’re still weak.

(Pause. He changes subject.)
Daniel: Do you want to take a shower? Maybe it’ll help you remember.

Scene 3 — The Flashback (Bathroom)

Camera on the mirror. Water running. She hears a faint whisper: “Run.”
(Quick flashes — rope, darkness, scream.)

Anna (terrified): What was that?!

(She opens the bathroom cabinet — finds a photo of herself and Daniel, smiling. Date written: one year ago.)

Scene 4 — The Discovery (Bedroom)

She searches Daniel’s drawer. Finds a phone. Plays a video — she’s tied, crying.

Anna (shocked): Oh my God… he lied to me.

(Door creaks — Daniel enters silently.)
Daniel (cold): You shouldn’t have seen that.

Scene 5 — The Truth (Living Room)

He moves closer. She’s crying, trembling.

Anna: You kidnapped me!
Daniel (softly): I saved you. You begged me to keep you here.
Anna: Stop lying!

(She grabs a candle holder, hits him, runs away.)

Scene 6 — The Escape (Hallway)

She unlocks the door with shaking hands. Heavy breathing. She runs outside — night, wind, silence.

(She stops on the street, looks around — nobody there. Then she turns back… the same house behind her, lights flickering.)

Anna (panting): No… no, this can’t be…

(She blinks — and suddenly she’s in bed again, waking up the same way as in Scene 1. The ticking clock is the same sound.)

Daniel (off-screen, same tone): You’re safe now. I found you outside, remember?

(Camera zooms in on her face — her eyes widen in terror.)

Cut to black. The sound of her whisper repeats:
Anna (voice-over): “Run.”
