There are various ideas that have been proposed in order to increase the yield of learning like getting a more hands on interactive approach with the seminar/lecture reader. There are 3 main styles of learning like Audio, Visionary and Kinetic. All of those can be achieved throughout studying. Audio is a sound based exercise or lecture, Video is of course perfect as videos engage students. For even more information a field trip for physical learning is an idea. And then again repetition of an exercise is best.
