Growing Up!

Growing up, I moved around a good bit. I lived in Alabama for 11 years, South Carolina for two years, and then moved to Arkansas in 2020. This meant I changed schools many times over my early educational years. This is when I got to experience different forms of school such as homeschooling, virtual school, public school, and private school. This was very beneficial in giving em the experience of what different schooling looked like. Through this, I learned I had extreme passion for teaching and especially for young children. I played teacher with my younger siblings often and could not wait to make the pretend a reality.

I am a sophomore at the University of Arkansas currently studying communications after very recently changing my major from elementary education. During my time here, I have met many amazing people and enjoy going to many football, baseball, and basketball games with them! I have gone through many education classes that I have deeply enjoyed and learned much about the education field that I will always carry with me. I have enjoyed our campus and being able to enjoy the nature while walking around. I have loved the culture and overall experience so far! I look forward to continuing in my own education and graduating in a couple years.

Future Dreams!

In the future, I had planned to be a teacher! I love working with young children. Unfortunately, my plans got shifted but I still plan to use the degree I am working towards in some way to work with children around elementary age. I am working towards graduating early in hopes to get into the workforce a little faster. I hope to be married and have kids of my own one day and potentially homeschool my own kids!
