$1000 per year for four years. *Years two through four contingents upon meeting the second and subsequent year's criteria.

CRITERIA

O Must attend and graduate from a C.M.S.D. High School.

O Must be accepted to a college, university, vocational school, or post-secondary institution.

O Carry a cumulative grade point average not greater than 3.0 or less than 2.0.

O Must maintain an 85% attendance record during your senior year.

O Submit 2 letters of recommendation. At least one must be from school personnel, such as counselor, principal, coach, teacher, etc. If desired, one recommendation may be from an employer.

O Submit attached application and an official transcript and verification of attendance.

O Complete and submit a typewritten essay which includes your future goals, what made you decide on the post-secondary institution you are choosing to attend, and what you will do to become a contributing member to our society upon graduation and beyond.

Extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and community participation will be considered.

*If a scholarship is granted, criteria for years two through four will be included on acceptance forms.

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior attending an HBCU during the 2026-2027 academic year

• Current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher

• Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities

• Must be able to demonstrate a financial need

• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

You must be a U.S. citizen, African American/Black resident of Northeast Ohio, currently attending or a graduate of a Northeast Ohio high school, and a high school senior or undergraduate student up to age 25.

Required: GPA 2.5 or higher, enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution in the continental United States.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior in the 2025–2026 academic year

• Plan to enroll in a two-year or four-year college, university, or accredited trade program in Fall 2026

• Maintain a cumulative GPA between 3.2 and 4.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Demonstrate positive character, leadership, and community involvement

• Commit to attending monthly college readiness workshops (April 2026 – August 2026)

• Commit to participating in the mentorship program (August 2026 – December 2026)

• Submit a completed application and all required supporting materials by the deadline

Application Requirements

Students must submit:

• Completed scholarship application form

• Official high school transcript

• Proof of acceptance or application to a post-secondary institution

• One letter of recommendation (teacher, counselor, mentor, or community leader)

• A personal essay describing educational goals, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will assist in achieving those goals

Only four (4) students will be selected to participate in the Shiloh Scholars Program. Each selected student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarship funds will be distributed based upon participation in monthly workshops, active engagement, and consistent communication with assigned mentors throughout the program.

Recipients will be recognized during the Shiloh Scholars Scholarship and Awards Banquet.We encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to receive financial assistance, mentorship, and guidance as they pursue their future goals. Eligibility Requirements

• Have completed high school (or equivalency) by July 1

• Plan to attend a not-for-profit community college or trade/vocational school

• Enroll in an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma program by September that will lead to employment

• May not be enrolled in pre-requisite courses

• Demonstrate financial need (applicants must show household income of $100,000 or less)

• Be under the age of 35

• Be a United States citizen

The following are the application criteria:

· Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher.

· Must complete a scholarship award application (attached).

· One (1) page essay expressing your career goals, background, and activities or personal involvement in keeping with the fraternity’s cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

· Official copy of high school transcript.

· Official ACT-SAT scores.

· Evidence of Community Service Completion.

· An acceptance letter from the College/University of their choice.

· Complete the 30-minute Scholarship Panel Interview.

· Application must be received by Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Applicants will be evaluated based on grade point average, leadership potential, social involvement, and a personal interview with the scholarship committee.

Scholarships will be tendered upon proof of acceptance, registered, and matriculation as a full-time student at a four-year College/University.
