First part

The first part of the reading is about the letter of Philip Blake, he starts talking about his friendship whit Amyas Crale and how the relationship whit Caroline was. Then, he starts talking about the five days that he spend in Alberdury before the murder of Amyas. He explains that in the house was staying Elsa Greer, the lover of Amyas, because he was painting her. A critical point was when they were eating and Elsa reveleas to Caroline that Amyas is going to divorce from she and its going to marry her. The night before the murderof Amyas they went to Meredith´s room. The next day, Philip heard a discussion between Caroline and Amyas, were she told him that she was going to kill him, then Meredith appear in the house telling Philip that someone stole the last night a coniine.  Finishing, when he found Amyas dead, he told Caroline that she had killed his best friend and she answered that he commit suicide.

Second part

The second part of reading is about the letter of Meredith Blake. He starts telling that he believes in the innocent of Caroline, and that it´s true that when all the things happened he though that Caroline was guilty ,but now he believes that what really happened is that Caroline wanted to kill herself whit the coniine but Amyas found her and stopped her and realize that Caroline couldn´t live without him and he couldn´t live without Elsa, so he commit suicide. He also talks about the conversation that he had with Caroline weeks before the murder of Amyas, were she told him that Amyas was in love whit Elsa.
