Infection diseases- As the planet gets hotter, the geographic region where ticks and mosquitoes like to live is getting wider. These animals are well-known vectors of diseases such as the Zika virus, dengue fever, and malaria.
Mental Health- A common result of any climate-linked disaster is the toll on mental health. The distress caused by drastic environmental change is so significant that it has been given its own name—solastalgia.
We have massive concentrations of domesticated animals around the world, some of which can be home to pathogens, like the flu, that can make people sick.
Federal, state, and local agencies can support public health leadership and science, we can provide more funding for needed research, early response to outbreaks, and supplies for testing. And we can do much more to control the illegal wildlife trade.

However, the snow leopard’s small population size coupled with significant knowledge gaps about the species make this big cat potentially vulnerable to a changing climate. Additionally, snow leopards are susceptible to the indirect impacts of climate change.

1992- The text of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is adopted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This is the key international treaty to reduce global warming and help cope with the consequences of climate change. For the first time binding gas emissions reduction targets are set for industrialised countries.
1997- The Kyoto Protocol is the world's first greenhouse gas emissions reduction treaty. The Protocol legally binds developed countries to emission reduction targets - an average of 5% by the period 2008-2012 with wide variations on targets for individual countries.
2015- The Paris Agreement on fighting climate change is the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal. The objective of the agreement is to maintain the increase in global temperatures well below two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, whilst making efforts to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees. The agreement aims to ensure global greenhouse gas emissions peak as soon as possible, and to balance emissions and removals of greenhouse gases in the second half of this century. Furthermore, the agreement addresses the adaptation to climate change, financial and other support for developing countries, technology transfer and capacity building, as well as losses and damage
November 2021-At the longest COP conference on record, countries agreed to the goal of climate neutrality; increased funding for vulnerable developing countries; and less money for new fossil fuel projects. The heat in 2016 broke the historical record set in 2015, which broke the one from 2014. 
2. It's because of us. 
Carbon dioxide warms the planet, and we've increased the amount in the air by nearly half, most since the 1960s
3. We're sure.
These scientists have concluded humans are causing global warming. These scientists haven't. We've known about the greenhouse effect since the 1800's. Swedish physicist Svante Arrhenius even predicted 18966 that carbon dioxide from coal burning would warm the planet. 
4. Ice is melting fast. 
Artic sea is shrinking, and glaciers are retreating worldwide. Seas could rise thee feet by 2100- or maybe more. 
5. Weather is wreaking havoc. 
Worldwide, the number of climate-related disasters has more than tripled since 1980. 
6. Species are being disrupted. Animals and plants are already vanishing from parts of their range that are now tooo hot. Extinctions come next. 
7. We can do something about it.
Renewables, the fastest-growing energy source, are projected to triple by 2040 .
